Check in starts at 4 PM (16:00)

Guests are able to check in anytime after 4 PM. Early check in is not a guarantee.

Of course! We have lockers you are able to use to store your belongings. We encourage you to either bring your own lock or to purchase one from our onsite vending machine. Our lockers are 17.5 in (43cm) wide, 23.5 in (60 cm) deep and 34.5 in (88 cm) tall.

Starting May 4th 2026, the HighRoad will implement a new pre-check in procedure for all guests.

Once your reservation is made, you will be sent a link via email or SMS from our software partner, Akia. Akia will prompt you to sign off on the house rules, upload your ID, add payment information as needed and gain important stay information.

Then when you come to check in, all you need to do is confirm your name and get your keycard - that’s it!

All guests must be 18+ to check in.

All guests should have a valid government issued ID. We do not accept student IDs, expired IDs or photos of IDs. Dorm rooms guests must show ID reflecting residency of 90+ miles away and USA passports are not accepted for dorm room guests.

Each reservation requires a valid credit/debit card on file for incidentals that is issued under the name of the guest who is staying.

All guests must check out by 11 AM sharp on their day of check in. Late check out fees start at $15 and can go upwards of the cost of (1) additional nights stay. We do not offer late check out but we welcome guests to check out and use our main floor facilities which include; lobby areas, luggage storage, bathrooms, and our coffee area.

The HighRoad Annex is an extension of the main HighRoad building located just a short walk away! We have additional private rooms and suites available at the Annex. The Annex does not have a front desk but staff at the main building are here to help 24/7. You will know you are staying at the Annex because Annex will appear in the description and these are all King rooms.

While we love furry friends, we do not allow them onsite or in our rooms. The exception being trained service animals and unfortunately no ESA animals.
