Located at 2311 18th St NW, just a short 1-2 minute walk from the main HighRoad building is our newest addition - the HighRoad Annex. Control your own stay with self check-in which means skipping the front desk, digital pin codes for entry, and everything you need for a great stay right at your finger tips.
Please carefully read room descriptions and prearrival information for important check in and stay information.
The HighRoad Annex does not have its own front desk. The front desk at the main HighRoad building at 1804 Belmont Rd NW is happy to help assist with questions or concerns before, during, and after your stay. The HighRoad Annex is located in a historic building with no elevator - so accessing rooms requires stairs.
Please note: The Annex building is located directly on 18th St — 18th St is lined with restaurants and nightlife. This means that on Friday and Saturday nights, there is typically higher foot traffic on the street. We do our best to help noise proof the building, but there are some factors we unfortunately cannot control. If you are staying in any of our Annex rooms on Friday or Saturday nights, please note that there will be some street noise and an overall busier street on these nights.

King Studio
A bright, private studio apartment facing the front street with neighborhood and sidewalk views. It includes a King Bed, sleeper sofa (full size), a kitchen, and a bathroom. The apartment can sleep 1-3 people. The bathroom has 2 sinks with ample space. The room features dimmable ambience lighting, blackout curtains, sheer curtains, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, a 50” Roku TV to stream all your shows plus over-the-air antenna for live local channels, free Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, and a hotel-style digital safe. The bathroom features separate shower and toilet compartments, an adjustable shower head, and a hairdryer. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided. The kitchen contains an electric range, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and a refrigerator. A coffee maker is included.

A bright south & east facing upper level room facing the rear of the property design with functionality and comfort in mind. The room has one king-size bed and an in-room bathroom with adjustable shower head and detachable wand for a spa-like experience. This room faces the side yard of the building. The room has one king-size bed and an in-room bathroom with 2 sinks and with ample space. The room features dimmable ambience lighting, blackout curtains, a vegan leather backrest, generous height under-bed storage, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, seating options, a 40” Roku TV available for streaming your subscriptions + over-the-air live antenna TV, free Wi-Fi, a hotel-style digital safe, a 4-cup in-room coffee maker. The room is an upper level room and faces the private lightwell space in between buildings with typically little to no street noise.

Cozy King + Kitchenette Bright Front Facing Studio
The room is located on the main level and faces the front of the building westward with large bay casement windows showing sidewalk and city views. The room features dimmable ambience lighting, large windows with blackout curtains, a vegan leather backrest, generous height under-bed storage, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, seating options, a 40” Roku TV available for streaming your subscriptions + over-the-air live antenna TV, free Wi-Fi, and a hotel-style digital safe. The kitchenette includes a coffee maker and tea pot, plates, dishes, silverware, glasses and wine glasses, and a microwave, mini-fridge, and dishwasher. The full bathroom includes a shower with adjustable and detachable shower wand. An adjustable half-round or full round table is perfect for dining or working on.

The unit includes a King Bed, a kitchen with range, and a full bathroom with shower. The apartment can sleep 1-2 people. Seamless self-check-in with PIN code available. The room features dimmable ambience lighting, blackout curtains, sheer curtains, portable luggage racks, ample hooks and hangers, a 40” Roku TV to stream all your shows plus over-the-air antenna for live local channels, free Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, and a hotel-style digital safe. An adjustable half-round or full round table is perfect for eating or working.
The bathroom features a lighted mirror and an adjustable spray shower head on a wand. Hairdryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided.
The single-wall kitchen contains an electric range, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and a refrigerator. A coffee maker and tea maker are included.
Irons, ironing boards, and clothes steamers are available in the hall nearby for your use to take and use in your room as desired.

This room faces the sidewalk and street, and has a floor level about four feet lower than the level of the sidewalk, similar to what is called an English Basement typical to Washington, D.C. This is an active, relatively busy area. The room has extensive sound dampening features, but the muffled noise from a loud truck or bus can be audible at times even through the sealed casement windows.
